These color images began as prints of photos from a trip to Spain in 2005-2006. They were digtially composited, printed and repeatedly layered with scrapings of dried paint residue. The black and white images originated from a 1950s porn film and were layered with wax and graphite. The word eidolon has a range of meanings including mental image, phantom, ideal, and idol.
